District #9 issues two types of checks - a payroll check that you will take to the bank yourself or a direct deposit check that will automatically be deposited into your account. The direct deposit check looks like a regular check, but it will have VOID written across the top and will have NON-NEGOTIABLE printed where the signatures would be.
