The counselors at Granite City High School assist students in making academic, personal, social, educational and career decisions to help every student achieve his or her potential.

The school year has begun!  Mrs. Rials has left the district for personal reasons. We wish her all the happiness with her little one! New assignments are as follows:

Here is a list of the upcoming ACT test dates:  

2010-2011 

* COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS*

1. Completely fill out the college application.

2. Pick up and fill out a " Request for Transcript " form, which is available in the Guidance Office and on website.

3. The following items are needed for processing:

• Request for Transcript Form - Top and Bottom Portions Completed
• Completed College Application and/or Scholarship Forms
• College Application Fee (if applicable). 
• Addressed Stamped Envelope (2 stamps - Business Envelope/  3 Stamps for Large Yellow Envelope).

4. Your counselor will fill out the counselor portion on all of these forms.

5. Be careful of deadlines. Deadlines vary!
